In response to the wildfires’ devastation across L.A. County and the surrounding areas which are one of the largest natural disasters in U.S. history, Crew Nation is supporting individuals currently employed within the industry facing displacement expenses due to mandatory evacuation orders, damage, or loss.

Crew Nation Relief will provide grants of up to $5,000 to individuals who are currently employed as live music professionals OR as live performance musicians and have experienced one of the below as a result of the 2025 fires in Los Angeles county and surrounding areas: 

  • Loss of income due to the cancellation of live music concerts or the damage/destruction of a venue
  • Displacement expenses due to mandatory evacuation orders
  • Damage or destruction to primary home, vehicle, instruments, or music equipment  
     

To be eligible for this relief grant, applicant must:  

- Be employed in the live music industry and earn 50% or more of their income as either

  •  Live Music Professionals: Working in roles critical to live music at venues, music festivals, or on concert tours 
  • Live Performance Musicians

- Have at least three years of employment in the live music industry

- Provide proof of loss, damage, or displacement. Examples include, but not limited to: 

  • Insurance claims 
  • FEMA relief applications
  • Photos of damage or destruction  
  • Receipts for costs incurred by mandatory evacuation orders  
  • Employer verification of loss of work 

- Provide a copy of state identification or a valid passport

The Crew Nation fund provides monetary grants to individuals in the live music industry facing hardships. The fund is currently not open to musicians and performers.
 

Crew Nation will provide grants up to $1000 to individuals who are currently employed as live music venue crew members and have: 

  • Lost income due to live music concerts being cancelled.
  • Lost income due to damage or destruction of the venue employing them or 
  • Suffered hurricane damage or destruction to primary home or primary vehicle. 


Eligibility for hurricane relief:  

  • Be an employee at a live music venue and earn 50% or more of their income from this field. Crew members include all  front of house and backstage staff that help bring concerts to life.   
  • Been employed in the live music industry for five or more years.  
  • Applicants must provide documentation of need in the form of an insurance claim, FEMA relief application or employer verification of damage to venue or cancelled shows.  
  • Applicants must provide a copy of their state identification or a passport.
